All you wanted was a nice little swim, nothing more. Instead, what you got was turned into a furry little animal. You needed a vacation but a vacation from being human isn’t what you had in mind! And what if you’re stuck like this for the rest of your life? A million thoughts go through your mind, which leads to panic.
You find yourself running as fast as you can away from the lake. If the water turned you into an otter then maybe drying off will change you back! Your eyesight is lousy in this form, especially out of the water. You are forced to rely primarily on your other scenes to guide you.
An interesting scent grabs your attention; it seems like a strange combination of human and otter. Where could it be coming from? As you slow down to ponder that question, you hear something approaching you from behind. You turn around to see that it is another otter, sort of. It’s humanoid and about the size of a child and it’s walking on 2 feet just like a human. The figure definitely peeks your interest so you decide to let it catch up to you.
10 seconds later the figure is standing over you and you are able to get a much closer look at it. It’s definitely humanoid, although it’s feet look more like a large version of your back feet, right down to the webbing. Its fur coloration is a little different then yours. It’s light brown on its arms and legs and beige on its chest and on the bottom of its muzzle. Yes, it has a muzzle and ears like yours. You cautiously walk closer to the strange creature and nuzzle against its right leg. It’s so soft and warm. It looks down at you and giggles, you can’t help but smile when you hear its voice, it sounds just like a little girl. You look up at what you realize is a she. She’s wearing clothes, shorts and a tree shirt and she looks so cute.
She kneels down and picks you up and gives you a hug.
“That lake turned you into an otter, you used to be a human right?” she sympathetically asks. You look at her and nod your head to say yes.
“Don’t worry, Tanya will help you out! She helped me out when I got turned into an otter in that lake,” she happily says as she starts walking. You wonder who Tanya is and realize that you’ll probably find out when she gets you to whoever she taking you.
15 minutes later she arrives at a small but quaint house. She takes you inside. She takes you into a room where a very gorgeous otter woman is sitting behind a desk with several vials of strange liquids.
“Hi Tanya, I found another one,” the otter girl that is carrying you says as she puts you on the desk. Tanya looks at you and explains to you what is going on.
“That pond has a spell on it that will turn anyone who swims in it into an otter. Unfortunately, I cannon make you human again but I can change you halfway back.” She says.
“I was just a normal 10 year old girl and I found this place and went for a swim. The lake turned me into a little otter and Tanya found me and made me like this. I’ve been here for 10 years now.” The otter girl says.
“You see, this forest has magical properties. Anyone who gets turned into an animal doesn’t age as long as they stay in the forest. I for example may only appear to be in my early thirties but in reality, I’ve been here 200 years. I became humanoid like this because a kind wizard helped me. He created this house for me and told me how to make the potions to partially restore people. If you do wish to be humanoid, as long as you stay in this forest, you won’t age. Do you want to be humanoid?” she asked. You nod your head to say yes.
“Great, I can give you a potion to allow you to decide what you’d like to be. You can be any age or even gender you wish. I can make you a kid, a teenager, a young adult even a middle-aged adult of senior citizen aged. The most people choose to stay the age they were as a human, some have chosen to be a bit older, some younger. Some have even chosen to change genders. We have a few young adult females that used to be young men and vise versa. To let you choose, I’ll put 6 cards on the table, they say child-teen-young adult-adult-middle aged-senior in that order and Ill put others here, they sale male and female. Put your paw over one age one to choose and a gender one to choose.” She says she puts the card down.
You take a deep breath and walk towards them. What you’re going to be will be decided in the next few minutes. So many choices, so many possibilities. After a few minutes of deciding, you choose…..
