I lay there on the cushion in her little private room as she was already up and getting dressed. Right. The
rest of the pack needed their turn with her.
"You were pretty good, but you'll get better for the girls," she said as she fixed her hair up.
"Brretterrrr?" I growled. It was difficult to form the words now. To speak.
"Oh, dearie, don't bother talking. You're past the point where you're gonna be any good at it," she chuckled,
running a brush through her hair. I should have been worried, I knew I should have. I was losing my
humanity. With each activity I undertook, I became more wolf and less human. I couldn't remember my name. I
couldn't remember my new friends' names.
But I didn't care. I felt so... good.
"Rrrrrrrturrrning to wollf?" I asked, the words barely coming out.
"Me, no. I own the pack, though. You'll be mine forever. You've got the makings of an alpha. I can smell
it in you. You'll make my pack proud," she smirked as she turned to me. "Now what did I tell you about
talking? Don't bother."
I should have listened to her, I guess, but I wanted to be in charge. The alpha. Yes.
"Rrrrrgonna trrrrry... until... I can't..." I growled, rolling over some and then standing up. It was hard to
stand up straight. Hands weren't very hand-like anymore. Closer to paws. Thumbs were further back, almost
dew claws.
"Suit yourself, sweetie. Now, go on out through the back door and meet the bitches of the pack. They're
hungry, so I'm gonna give you your first job - lead them on a hunt."
I did as she said, fumbling with the doorknob for a bit before figuring out how to open it and stepping
through.
