“Both of us, actually.” Derek said. “There’s a whole display of mer tails here. I’ve always wanted to see you as a mermaid; and I’m sure you wouldn’t be opposed to seeing me as a merman.”
“Hmm, I guess not.” Sonya said before examining the tails. “They are very well made, almost lifelike; but I don’t know if we can afford two.”
“You needn’t worry about that.” A British accented young woman’s voice sounded behind Derek. She had a black dress with a silken witch’s miter on, but unlike the stereotypical witch, she was youthful in appearance. The two’s guess was it was a store uniform or something. “For such a cute, and close couple, these are buy-one-get-one-free.”
“Oh, nice!” Derek said and picked out a tail colored copper-orange. “Go ahead and pick one, Sonya.” Derek said.
Sonya examined the different colors of tails and finally settled on a metallic pink tail. “This one looks beautiful.” Sonya said.
“Will you be buying that as well?” The woman said pointing to the collar Sonya forgot she had.
“Huh? Oh no, here.” Sonya answered before handing over the collar.
“Okay then, I’ll ring you up.” The woman said.
After purchasing the tails, the two went down to the beach and discreetly snuck behind a rocky outcropping out of view of the public. They removed all of their clothing, save for Sonya’s bikini, put them into a sports bag along with some spare suits, and slid their legs into the tails.
They were amazed how easily they slipped on considering how snug they were. After posing for each other, the two laid back and let the water wash over their bodies. As soon as this happened, they felt an intense sensation in their legs.
