"Go to the beach!" I said. I always enjoyed going to the beach but after my Dad left we had stopped going.
"I don't really feel like it Joey, besides I have work tommarow." She said. Hearing that made me laugh a bit, I looked over at the desk and the two people sleeping there.
"It lookes to me like you'll be the least of Ms. Barnes' worries." That didn't seem to change tha agrivated expresion on my moms face.
"Couldn't you wish for something usefull like money or a new car?" She said with more than a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"See Mom," I said, "that type of attitude is just the reason why you need a vacation." Saying that definitly didn't help.
She opened her mouth but before she could say anything I said, "I wish my mom and I were at the beach."
The world seemed to go really blurry and then it faded back in to focus, and before us was the beach. I didn't know where we were but I didn't care. I quickly wished a bathing suit to replace my clothes and then looked at my mom who looked very pissed.
"C'mon Mom lighten up and have some fun."
She grimaced and said, "What do you suggest, this is more for little kids, hot girls and guys, and maybe some animals." She said looking at a person playing with a dog.
"Alright, I wish you would fit in better." I said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" My mom asked.
Thats when the changes started.....
