The Edwards were less then a block away from the beach now, but they had attracted the attention of more and more people. They lived in the popular vacation get-away city of Cannon Beach, which was at its tail end of tourist season. All the attention that the boys were attracting was started to make one of the Edwards really uncomfortable, the right head Edward.
"Dude, I don't think this was a good idea." right Edward said worriedly.
"Don't worry, we're just about there." left Edward said, trying to reassure his brother. "We'll get lost in the crowd at the beach."
"What?!" right Edward looked at his twin with puzzlement. "That's your plan?"
"Yeah, there are still so many people there; it'll be easy to disappear." left Edward was looking ahead of them and was oblivious to right Edward's baffled look.
Right Edward was shocked by the answer. How could his twin head be so... thick. Without warning to his twin, he suddenly stopped walking forward. He planted his foot in the dirt and didn't move.
Left Edward was completely unaware, until the sudden halt of one side of their body threw them off balance; they stumbled. Left Edward quickly shifted some of their weight onto his leg, so they wouldn't make fools of themselves by face-plant into the ground infront of the small crowd that was gathering.
"Why did you stop?" Left Edward questioned his other half; a tad annoyed with him now.
"Because of you plan. You want us to get lost in a crowd." right Edward replied, emphasizing on the word 'us'. It was obvious that his twin didn't get it, so he continued. "Encase you forgot, we aren't normal, even for twins." He motioned with his arm toward their single body.
"What? You'd think I forget that two heads are not a normal sight. Well, I do know that. I don't care, and neither should you." left Edward tried to take a step forward, hinting that they should keep moving, but his brother did not budge.
"You may want to be the freak attraction at the beach, but I don't. I'm going home." right Edward tried to pull them back the way they had come, but this time left Edward did not move.
"Now who's forgetting we aren't normal twins." left Edward mocked. "Where I want to go, you have to go. I'm the original."
"No, your the duplicate, I'm the real Edward." right Edward glared at his other half.
"No you're the fake!"
"No you are!"
"No you!"
"No You!"
At this point the two Edwards began to wrestle each other from their single form. They rolled around on the sidewalk, punching, kicking, pulling each other's hair, and just trying to beat each other up. Neither was aware of the spectacle they had become. If people somehow missed seeing them before, they wouldn't be able to miss the huge crowd of people cheering on a two-headed boy fighting with himself.
