Carol sat down in her car at looked at the rear-view mirror to adjust it and check her hair.
'That's odd.' Carol thought looking in the mirror at herself seeing that all of her gray hairs were gone.
Carol decided to just ignore it as she turned the car on and drove off. Carol turned the radio on and suddenly heard the station that her daughter Paige typically listens to.
"Oh not this nonsense." Carol said to herself. However, just as she was about to change the station, she suddenly found herself interested in what she was listening to and eventually began to sing along to it.
Carol arrived at her destination not long after that and proceeded in to the store. Looking around, she thought some young boys ogling at her and didn't do anything to stop them, instead just smirked. While browsing around some more, she noticed some girls wearing the newest trend of clothes and felt somewhat jealous.
The two girls came over and started talking to Carol.
"Those are some nice clothes." The one girl said.
"Oh thank you." Carol responded.
"Yeah, for four decades ago." The other girl said making her and her friend laugh.
Something inside Carol made her snap at them.
"Says the girl who will probably stay the popular girl throughout her high school career and will be forgotten about by graduation, so let's see here: high school pretty girl, or miss america 24/7, 7 days of the week?" Carol said pointing at herself then walking away leaving the two girls jaw dropped.
Carol looked at all the clothes in the store for younger women then looked at her own and decided to buy some new clothes because she felt the ones she had been wearing were strangely larger.
Carol later came home after what felt like hours.
Nate saw his mom come in with her some bags and looked at her thinking 'I think someone is in love with their new self.'
