Alan looked worried "I'm sorry, Katherine, I just got carried away."
Katherine was furious. "I thought when you said you were going to make me younger, it might be 5 years, or even 10, but, Alan, 16 years younger????"
Alan lowered his eyes. Even at 14, Katherine still had power over him.
Katherine walked over to him and said "Your turn, Give that to me"
Alan was reluctant. He could imagine her turning him into a frog or something, as mad as she was.
She seemed to sense this. "Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything too drastic."
He finally handed it over to her. She took some time and, finally, made some adjustments and said "Are you ready?"
"No...." he said.
Katherine didn't wait. She pointed the device at him and fired.
The electric jolt was worse then he expected, but it passed quickly.

"You made me 15 years old? "Why not the same age as you?"
Katherine said "Well, you are the boy after all, so you should be older, right?" She was unsure about that answer.
Alan walked over to her. "So, what now, Kathy. "Do we make ourselves into 80 year olds?"
Kathy thought about it, "No, maybe we better stay this age for awhile and see if it wears off or something."
