The following morning, Michael Dodson said to his crew.
“Alright, Mr. Hastings, you’ve squared everything, disposed of the body, and we’re right on track? Is there anything else we need to know?”
Mitch replied, “We need to find out what exactly Mr. Regence knows about the operation, and whether if any of our information has been
released to the police force.”
Nathan arrives.
Dodson replies, “Nathan, you’re late. Where were you?”
Nathan replied, “I just bought a donut, you guys want any? They’re delicious. I’m about to finish mine, but there are only crumbs left.”
Mr. Dodson replied, “Well, all I know is that somebody’s leaking information out. I don’t know who, but we have to find who that is, so we can
set that person straight.”
Mitch replies, “It must be Tommy. Nathan, do you agree?”
Nathan replies, “It could be anyone. Seriously guys, we need to see what Josh knows.”
Mr. Dodson replies, “Well, I need to get my contact on line so that he sends the goods to my business partner in time before the next week’s
ball game. We may have to fly over ourselves to greet them.”
Mitch asks, “Well, we have that covered regardless. That won’t be a hassle.”
Dodson says, “Just make sure we find a way to corner Josh and his friends, so that they won’t squeal or anything. They saw us with that guy in
the van, so we need to make sure they don’t say anything.”
Nathan replies, “’I’ve got a guy who can corner Josh, just let me set this one up.”
Mitch replies, “Well, let me go along with you.”
Dodson replies, “No Mitch, apparently our contact took a peak at Tommy’s cell phone and found that from his call logs, he called Josh while we
beat him up. So Josh knows about us.”
Mitch asks, “Well, what about Aaron Cummings? Josh has not met him yet. He can be part of the muscle.”
Dodson replies, “Maybe. I already have set up my son to try to bring him in. But we have to find a way to earn Josh’s trust so that he doesn’t
realize that we’re trying to bring him in. We must find a way so that he loses sight of us.”
Mitch responds, “Agreed.”
Dodson asks, “Nathan, do you agree?”
Nathan replies, “Sure. I’ll help out to the best of my knowledge.”
Dodson replies, “That’s good enough for me.”
Afterwards, the men retreat, as Nathan walks to his car, and drives to a remote location to find his partner, Detective Johnson.
He tells him, “Okay, Aaron Cummings and Michael Dodson Jr. are in the mafia’s plans to bring Josh Regence to them.”
Detective Johnson replies, “Good. We’ll tail them once you get the visual on them, so that when they make their move, we’ll move forward on
the sting operation to arrest them.”
