"It's been 3 hours," Sam's mom worriedly said to her husband "so he should've been back by now!"
"I'm sure he's fine, dear." Sam's dad told her, trying to comfort her "I remember when I was his age, I used to get into all kinds of trouble, but I
always made it out okay in the end."
Sam's mom looked out at the forest behind the house.
"I hope he's okay," she said "maybe we should - wait!"
"What?" Sam's dad asked.
"Look outside!" she said.
They looked outside, and saw a wild 10 year-old boy with dark, tan skin, long, dark, wild hair, a well-developed body, wearing nothing but a
loincloth. He was running right toward the house.
"It must be one of the neighborhood kids." she said "We'd better stop him before he does any damage to our new home."
"He can't be older than 10." the dad said to her "how much damage could he do?"
"I don't know," she said as she walked outside with her husband "but we paid good money for this house - I don't want any property damage!"
They came out the back door to meet this wild boy, and when he saw them, he smiled happily, ran to his mom, and hugged her.
"Um, hI?" she said "What's your name?"
"Me Sam." he happily said "You mommy."
Although he had lost much of his knowledge, he still remembered his name, and somehow knew these two were his parents.
"He must not have any parents." she told her husband "Let's take him in - he's probably hungry and thirsty."
So they took him inside, not realizing he was their son Sam, and also not realizing that (after they fed him, of course) he'd want to take them to
the jungle, so it could make them jungle kids too....
