Suddenly, in the middle of the store, a portal appears. It is bright, shimmering with blue and green flashes."Oh my goodness. What in the world is that?" screamed John
"It's the door way to your new life, fools!" says the shop owner, coming up from behind, and pushes them in.
John and Carrie are sucked in by the portal. As it closes up, they notice a change going on. Air is being pumped into the costumes. "Huh?" they both wonder.
As they start to inflate, they begin to worry. So they decide to take the rubbery costumes off. But as they look, neither of them can find the zippers. And still, they expand. The costume bodies become come inflated, as with the arms, hands and feet, to the point the air pressure makes it almost impossible to move anything except there legs. As this happens, they both feel force it's way into each of there mouths. Trying to spit it out, the find out is a voice amplifier, connected to a speaker in their costumes mouths. Suddenly, they zoom out of the vortex into what looks like a theme park by an ocean. "Where are we? Hey, my voice sounds different!" John yells.
Well, of course it does, new employees." a voice behind them says. Only able to move there legs, they find it hard to turn around to see the shop owner there, smiling."Welcome to Sea World. You are now going to be part of our permanent staff. The place needs tour guides, but we are a little low on funds. So we needed a way to get permanent workers that would be unpaid. Also, we needed to make sure no one would be suspisias, hence the store and you being stuck in those costumes."
"We will never agree to this." shot back Carrie.
"Oh, but you will, he, he ,he!" the shop owner laughed, reaching over to a secret panel and pressing a button. At that moment, a little radio antenna appeared and started transmitting brain washing commands to John and Carrie. They tried to fight it, but to no avail. Soon, all they could remember was that they were humans and stuck in costumes, plus a whole spiel of what to say as they now took guest around the park. They don't even remember their own names, no going by "Finny" (John), and Mr. Shamu(Carie). They can walk, but that is it. Sometimes, as part of shows, they float around in the water, squeaking all the way...
Shamu was the name of the first killer whale brought to SeaWorld San Diego in the 1965. "Shamu" is now used as a stage name for adult killer whales in performances at SeaWorld parks
