Moving through the costumes and clothes Jake came across an assortment of leather head gear. There were many styles, but one in particular caught his eye. It was a leather dog hood. Black in color, with a long snout and long pointed ears. Jake had never seen anything like it before and for reasons he did not understand he picked up the hood and eagerly tried it on. Looking at a mirror, he shivered at the sight of himself. The dog hood covered his head like a restraint, his human face only visible in certain areas. It looked like the hood was trying to obscure his human identity.
“You have no right to be human.” A raspy voice in his head seemed to tell him. Jake shook his head and the voice was gone.
.
Shaking his head he looked over to wear he found the hood and saw a dog collar had been sitting next to it. The black dog collar had a blue bone shaped tag attached. The name Apollo was written on it in white. He quickly put on the collar and looked at himself. The collar felt good and comfortable, but he wanted to see himself in private. He wanted to see himself like it would be if he really was someone’s dog. He ran to the changing room and shut the door.
Jake quickly started stripping himself down. His shoes, socks, pants, and shirt all went, and after a moments hesitation so did his underwear. Standing there naked, and sporting a hard on, he kneeled on the floor, hands in front of him like a dog’s forelegs. He did his best imitation of a sitting dog and looked at the mirror. His mind reeled at the image of himself as a dog. He didn’t understand how he felt so happy at the thought. That raspy voice came back telling him hes supposed to be naked and in a collar. That hes supposed to be not human.
Before he could try to understand his thoughts the changing room door opened.
