Dan sat there in the cold for a week. Everyday, there was the hard task of trying not to go crazy from boredom. He also noticed he was growing some more. He wondered why his parents never found him. What he did not know was that his sister has put a spell on them to make them think he was on a two week student exchange program.
After a week, Kat finaly came back to pick Dan. "Oh, you look great." she said.
Dan tried screaming, but it was no use. His mouth was gone, and, he noticed, his eyes, ears, and nose were going away to. He was going blind and deaf! The last thing he saw was Kat cutting him away from his vin

Dan was scared, he had no idea were he was. All of his senses were gone except for touch, so he could tell he was on a hard surface. "Will I loose that to, and become comepletly pumpkin?" he worried.
Suddenly, he pelt something sharp being jabbed into his tough pumpkin skin. He then felt it carving it's way into what felt like a square. When it was done, some of himself fell out, and he could see again. But, strangly, he noticed, it was only with one eye. He then felt the sharp object cut another square out, and he sould then see with both eyes. Then, a human figure, shrouded in darkness due to the gact all the light was coming from behind the person, stepped in front of him and cut out a larger shape beneath his eyes. When that was done, the figure grabbed him and turned him to face a mirror. Now Dan could see what had happened. He had been carved into a Jack-o-lantern! The figure then stepped into the light, and Dan saw that is was Kat. She lifted up a lid in the top of his head, and he watched as she placed a candle inside of him, compleating the affect. She then lifed him up and placed him in the window as a Halloween decoration. What was he going to do now?...
