Jeff's mom, Jennifer, began to feel a tingling sensation across her body. She put her hands on her hips as her waist began to taper inward. She didn't notice what was happening to her, but she did feel a bit strange. Her breasts started to perk up and grow a bit larger. Her face began to lose its imperfections as she began to de-age to the young age of 18. Jennifer wandered out of Jeff's room, oblivious to the changes that had occurred. As Jennifer entered the kitchen, where Jeff was washing dishes, Jeff noticed that the changes he had put in as a test had taken effect. He breathed a sigh of relief when he realized his mom hadn't noticed the change. After finishing washing the dishes, he decided to blow off the rest of the chores and head back to his room.
However, on his way back, he realized that he had changed the settings so that reality would alter to match the changes he had made to Jennifer. He was now 2 years younger than his mother, which means that his mom would have had to have been 2 years old when she gave birth to him. Jeff panicked and ran back to his room. The screen on his computer displayed a message from the Chronivac. "ADJUSTING REALITY TO SUIT CHANGES," it read. Jeff attempted to change the settings, but the computer was locked until the changes were completed.
