"That we were a newly married couple." The ring instantly transformed them into adults who appeared to be at least thirty years-old.
Hannah looked at her hand and saw not only did she have the wish ring, she also had a wedding ring on her as well. She had grown to be a very lovely woman and wasn't in the least bit fat. She looked over at Sam and still remembered that he was her brother but at the same time, she thought of him as her husband.
"Sam, how do you feel?"
"I feel good. You look good by the way." Sam complimented. Hannah giggled at this but suddenly caught herself.
"Did you seriously just say that?" She asked.
"Y-yeah, but I still remember you being my sister."
"Do you remember the ring?"
"Of course I do, I got it from the jewelry store you love so much then I took you to the place where we first met and I proposed to you."
"No, the wish ring." Hannah corrected.
"Oh right, I know about the wish ring."
"But that didn't happen. I mean it did but; no no, that's not right, is it?"

"Sam, listen to me we are relate...rela...relatively just as good as our neighbors."
"I know Hannah but lately, with the way we argue, our neighbors think we're divorcing."
