Jake's mind was racing. Store rules? The clerk looked exasperated.
"Hey, you said the first one was free, but then I could buy anything in the store, and since I was here first.
How much for the kid?" Jake asked.
"How much for him?" the clerk said jabbing the overweight youth with his finger, "Hm? Well, you were ahead of
him as a customer."
"Wait! I was here first."
"But you left and came back. And he came in between. So he is ahead of you."
"Let me speak to the manager!"
"You already are twerp, and I believe Jake here needs something to cover up his nakedness. His old clothes
won't fit. So -" he said grabbing the fat kid's ear. He turned to Jake, "You willing to pay the price?"
"What's the price?"
"Normally, you have to bring two people to replace everyone you take, but since he brought himself, you only
need to get one person to come into the store looking for a new position. Don't worry I'll find him a good
one."
"No. No. No. He's supposed to be mine!" shrieked the kid trying to pull away.
"Okay, deal."
"Good."
The kid's face blanched, and he was no longer fat. His clothing collapsed on a heap on the floor of the
changing room, and the manager was holding a bit of stretchy white fabric. He handed it to Jake.
"Try him on."
"Uh, okay?" Jake said holding the one piece garment. It was a bicycle, running or maybe wrestling singlet. He
wasn't quite sure, but it fit perfectly. He grinned at how every muscle and bulge showed. "Nice, but what
about shoes?"
The clerk laughed, "Bring me one guy to replace your singlet, and then we'll talk. Or bring me four guys, and
you'll leave wearing two of them."
Jake grinned. "I like the way you think, I know a couple of twins who would be perfect for the job.
This sucks, thought Joey the fat kid, and his thoughts echoed in Jake's mind.
"Whoa, I can hear him!" he said snapping the fabric around his crotch.
