"What do you mean 'the real you'?" Brad asked, a bit perplexed "Do you act the way you do in front of me just to make me happy?"
"No," Victoria chuckled "it has nothing to do with the way I act, but rather what I am. I know how scared you've always been of clowns, so this
only makes this more difficult. I'm a clown."
"That's it?" Brad asked "You just put on makeup, goofy clothes, and be funny?"
"I wish it were that simple," Victoria said "but I'm a real clown."
She then sat down right next to him, and looked at him.
"I'm going to go slowly so I don't freak you out as bad." she said in a caring tone.
"Okay." he said, smiling at what he thought was a joke "I'll play along."
Slowly her nose inflated into a pink ball the size of a golfball. Brad rubbed his eyes, thinking he was seeing things, but he wasn't.
"Okaaaay," he said nervously "that's new."
"I can stop if you want." she said sympathetically.
"No." he said "Keep going."
Her skin turned a creamy white, and Brad's almost did too from fear.
"Are you sure you don't want me to stop?" she asked nicely.
"No." he said, a bit unnerved "I'm a big man. I can handle this."
Her hair then turned blue with pink highlights.
"Is that it?" he asked, shaking a bit.
"No," she said, now having a helium voice "there's still more." and her ears grew to twice their size.
"I should warn you the next part gets a bit freaky." she told him in a sympathetic helium voice.
"Just get it over with!" he almost yelled.
"Very well." she said. Her feet grew to size 25, her breasts swelled up to be melon-sized, and her hips widened out to match. Her eyebrows
became thin and black, pink circles appeared on her cheeks, and three black freckles appeared in each one. Her irises turned pink, she got blue
eyeshadow, her eyelashes became three inches long, and her eyes widened to anime proportions. Her lips then turned pink and became plump.
Her clothes also changed. She now wore blue shoes with pink laces, knee-length blue socks with pink stripes, a blue dress with a poofy skirt,
shoulder poufs as big as her breasts, and pink trim. Her fingernails were pink, and her hair was done up in two large ponytails by big pink
ribbons.
Brad couldn't move.
"This is the real me, Brad." she said, being as serious as possible with that helium voice of hers "Do you still love me?"
If Brad hadn't seen her transform, he wouldn't have known that this clown was his love. He looked at her, and realized his fear didn't matter
now - his love for her outweighed it by far.
"Yes," he said, shaking "I .... I...." and he wrapped his arms around her, kissing her on the lips, which she welcomed.
He felt his face sink into hers, and her nose pressed against his face felt like a comforting marshmallow.
He then released, and looked at her warm, smiling face.
"Since you were such a brave boy," she said "I'll go fix us some dinner." and she got up to do so.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brad was surprised - he'd expected a dinner of candy and fast-food from a clown, but instead be got a 5-star Italian dinner!
"So what do you think?" she asked.
"The meatballs are great." he said "A family recipe?"
"No." she said "Food Network. My parents only cooks junk-food - it makes me sick."
"Are they clowns too?" he asked.
"Yes." she replied "I was born as a clown, and I come from a long line of clowns. My people came to this planet during the Middle Ages, and
humans made fun of them by trying to look like them. That's how the clowns you know came to be. My real name is Candy, but I had my name
changed to Victoria, because I didn't want my parents' career. I wanted to be taken seriously, so I went to college and got a degree in business.
So now I'm a successful saleswoman, but my parents don't like it - all they care about is comedy, the circus, and making people laugh."
"How do you keep up a human appearance?" he asked
"It's a combination of science and magic." she replied "All clowns can do it."
He was amazed - here he was eating dinner with a clown, and having a serious conversation - it was so surreal!
"Brad." she said "If we get married, you'll become a clown too. Can you live with that?"
"Sure." he replied "I love you. You'll teach me how to control it, right?"
"Of course." she replied.
So the two began making plans for their wedding - it was going to be really special.
