I put on some clothes to hide me feline features and decide to head out for a while. I messed around at the park for a while and eventually found myself at a pet store. I avoided the dogs who kept barking at me. I could feel my tail puffing up near them and I started Hissing at them, and people started staring at me.
cats in the store really liked me however. I spent and hour or two just playing with them in the little play area. the employees asked me to leave however when i started acting too much like a cat and weirded them out. I left however buying a handful of cat toys, treats, and some catnip.
I went back to Jakes home, but no one was home yet. I finally let my tail and cats out to freely sway and twitch to the warm summer air. with this free i quickly started messing with my new toys. when stuck my hand into the bag of catnip I bought the scent of the stuff immediately sent my rational mind on vacation, quickly beginning to lick my hand clean. I noticed my nails had changed to become cat claws. I tested them by clawing into the carpet, and found it to be very fun.
after that I played with the cat toys and scratched the hell out of the furniture for hours until I heard someone come home. it was Jake. I pounced my friend with joy knocking him to the ground
"Ahh Mickey! Wh-what are you doing!" Jake stuttered, his face a boiling red.
"Hi!" I meow, rubbing my face against his, purring.
"Get-Get Off Me!" Jake yells tossing me off him. "Mickey what the Hell! I'm getting the Bottle!" he said walking off. I walked back over to my toys and began chasing after the mouse toy when Jake Walked back in.
"Where did all these things come from!" Jake said, walking back in the room I was in.
"I bought them!" I meow happily. Jake responds by spraying me with the water bottle. "Hey!" I hiss, jumping back from the water.
"I told you to stay home today!" He yelled at me. "hey, what's that smell?"
"Catnip!" I meow again. he sprayed me again with the bottle. he sprayed me repeatedly. then he started collecting all my toys and carrying them off to his room, only to notice the sofa I had scratched
"Oh God, Mickey what did you do!" he yelled, dropping the toys he had picked up.
"I got new claws and wanted to try them out." I say but he doesn't listen, freaking out over it.
"There's no way My parents aren't going to notice this!" he yelled. "Ugh, Mickey, go take a shower, get that smell off you, maybe then you'll think normally."
I didn't want to make Jake any angrier than he already was so did what he asked. I took a shower, though I didn't like it much and went back to him, much more level headed now. he had fixed up the sofa the best he could so his parents wouldn't notice it. then he handed me some gloves.
"Your going to have to where these and socks while my parent are home to hide your claws." he told me. I hadn't notice by feet gained cat claws too. "Also Mickey, go Shave, your whiskers are back." he added. I had completely stopped noticing them. I did what he asked, and shaved them off, though they hurt like hell. eventually I just called a night early and hit the hay.
I had another odd dream again, in the misty clockwork world. the mist had cleared slightly and some of the gears had begun moving. I also heard that voice say "which I wonder... Which will you choose..." before I awoke the next day and...
