A classroom sees a lot. Success and failure, make ups and break ups, smiles and tears. People's high school lives are defined by what happens in them. Popular kids bully nerds, couples make out in the back. Over time that energy sinks into the desks and chairs, some would call it magic. The oldest class rooms start to have a mind of their own secretly changing a kid or two as they pass through the doors. Maybe making life better for someone who deserves it or bringing someone down a notch. Shuffling the cliques around to pass the decades. This story follows a particularly old classroom in an unnamed school that loves changing people.
It started with John. John was a good but boring senior waiting to graduate. He was small for his age and didn't talk much. He was in the classroom as a TA just getting his credits to graduate. The class going on was full of freshmen. They were young, rowdy and talking about sports girls and their work out routines. Typical 'dudes'. John just sat back helping a few and almost wishing he had been like that or had another chance.
One of the kids named Colin called John over for help with a problem. Colin was big for his age and already had a lot of hair and muscle.
"Man what does this shit mean man?"
"Oh that means... uh... I dunno man" John scratched his head as his hair got shorter like the popular kids.
"See man, no one gets this stuff... but dude whats your routine you look ripped man!" John noticed his biceps were a lot bigger than he rememebered and he flexed a little, watching some of the girls smile.
"You know man, I lift a bit" He could feel himself getting dumber and younger but he didn't really care. He took a seat next to Colin and they started talking about football and girls. John kept getting younger until he was a freshman too, his clothes got tighter as he got a lot bigger and started growing some hair on his arms and legs. He forgot all about being a TA he was just another dumb kid in the class, talking with his best friend Colin to pass the time.
Who does the classroom change next?
