“Have I’ve ever told you how this place got started?” asks Victor Sanchez an overweight businessman with Spanish origin who is also the head of the Zoo. The skinny, brown haired man glance up into the office ceiling and takes a sip of his glass of whiskey “No, I haven’t” He feels annoyed as he must’ve heard this story about an million times at least and every time he tells it in the same way. Victor shifts his weight again in his cushy chair and smiles happily as he’s very proud of this story. “Well I come from a long line of wizards and witches. My family have always had magical abilities since as long as we can remember. Everyone in my family was spell casters, until now. I’ve never had any of the abilities my father or mother had and this disappointed my parents greatly. So instead of learning magic from them I moved to the US and studied to economics to become a businessman. During my studies I accidentally discovered that my roommate had the same abilities my parents had and as I already knew a little about these powers. We decided to team up and start a business together, and as my family had always specialized in transformations. I decided that I should I should honour my family by following the tradition. At first we just changed sluts, beggars, hoboes, criminals and other lowlife. First we had a small zoo shop at the other end of town. After a few years our business had grown, we now had a kennel, a small farm outside of town, zoo shop and we also sold animals to different zoos. We had also hired several more magically gifted persons in different towns, helping to “recruit” new animals to our establishment. But as the old manager of this zoo decided to sell, we didn’t hesitate a moment. And then we started researching on scientific ways of changing people’s species and that’s when you entered the picture” The skinny man nods in agreement.
