With a sigh, Mitch and Dale drink from the vials. They shudder an instant, then..
Dale and Mitch begin to physically change right before Alan and Stacy's eyes.
"What the?"
"Hey that's not supposed to happen to them." cries Stacy
They watch as Dale begins to grow less stocky and muscular to being a bit more leaner. His shaggy white and gray furcoat begins to change color. His docked tail grows outward and develops a hook at the end of it. And his ears darkened by a layer of his own shaggy fur crop themselves as they become pointed move to the top of his head. A prominently distinctive beard thickens at the base of his muzzle.
Alan and Stacy tear their gazes away from Dale to look at their friend, Mitch. And their surprise doubles as they see him changing into something lean and shaggy like Dale. His fur coat goes from a rich shade of gold to being a rich shade of fawn like Dale's. His tail loses its feathering and develops a hook at its end. His ears push themselves up the sides of his head and crop themselves into erect points before being covered with a layer of copious darkened fur.
In mere moments of imbibing Stacy's adjustment potion, Dale and Mitch have gone from being an Old English Sheepdog and a Golden Retriever to a pair of shaggy Briards. Dale and Mitch turn to look at each other up and down.
"Dale is that you?"
"Mitch?"
Both nod their shaggy heads in surprise at each other while Alan and Stacy watch on in surprise. But before any of them can react to what has happened. They hear someone walking out of the dorm behind Stacy and asking her a question.
"Hey Stacy, have you seen my potions of "Altered Breed"?
"Oh no! I grabbed the wrong set of potions." Stacy exclaims as Mitch and Dale continue to look themselves over.
"So now what do we do here?" Alan says to himself.
"Good question." The Briard known as Dale says to his friend.
