Now in Quarks excited chatter he'd let it slip that he possessed a Fast Light potion for turning
humans into dragons.
It seems that in his searches over the years he'd acquired the cast off skin of what the
seller had claimed was a female dragon who'd once been a human princess..
He'd had one of his brainstorms and mixing various powders
and the groundup dragonskin, added some Fast Light exposure to simmer the brew, and had before him a bubbling brew
that he supposed would turn the drinker into a female dragon.
At which point he'd sobered up and set aside the beaker of unknown stuff.
He'd done some further travels, paid monies and come across a cave containing the skeleton of a large
crocadillian creature with a long neck,a even larger tail and a pair of limbs attached
to its should knuckles he took for
enlarged bats wings. The remains still had parts of its scaly hide clinging to its bones, the same skin he'd
purchased and used in his potion.
He'd had the whole lot crated and shipped to his
manorhouse where he'd investigated the remains of what had to have been the female dragon who
supposedly had started life as a princess.
His interest in the project had risen and fallen over the years, and though he'd been to afraid
to test the potion on himself or other people,he had put a few drops on a toad test subject, and the toad had grown in sizeand undergone major skeleton
and muscle alterations.
Quark knew that taking the potion would rob him permanently of his humanity, something he had been loathe to do...
