If he was going to be in charge of an entire solar system (since Earth was the only inhabited planet, the Order had given him control
over the rest of the solar system, as well), he wanted to convey a presence of power. He thought of all the amazingly powerful animals
Earth was home to, but in the end it came down to just two members of the Mustelid family: the wolverine and the ratel. Wolverines had
physical power and ferocity along with a regal, don't-mess-with-me look. The honey badger had agility, fearlessness, and near
invulnerability. By combining the two, he could become a stupid-powerful monster.
Concentrating, he fashioned his new form after the two creatures. Physically, he looked like a fur-covered human with a wolverine's
head, tail, and claws. His fur was the pure white of the Order and so thick it acted like a coat of mail. He had a bulky, stocky physique:
slightly shorter than the other creatures, but far more muscular than most of them. His muscles were taught with the agility of the ratel,
ready to make a complete 360 in less time than a blink of an eye. Under his fur, he had a loose layer of skin that also acted as
protection, but his amazingly toned body was not hidden by his skin or fur. Internal organs that could survive near-death for long periods
of time made him virtually invincible. He was the picture of power.
"You have chosen a very fitting form, Keeper of Earth. I have one last question before you return to your realm: what will you call
yourself?" The dragon held a quill and paper, ready to record Ty's answer.
Ty decided to make his new name a portmanteau of his old name, Tyler, and the title "tsar" used by historical Russian emperors. The
name Tyzar combined power and familiarity. Besides, he could still call himself Ty. He told the panel his decision.
"Very well, Tyzar. A portal will be opened for you to return to Earth. Remember, you are omnipotent, but you must keep your planet in
check. Should you need to return here, you may create a portal by ripping space." Here, the dragon used his hands to grab the air and
pulled them apart like he was ripping tissue paper. As he did, the space in front of him was torn open and he could see his room.
"Otherwise, your old life has been erased. I am only sending you back to your old room for familiarity's sake. Remember your sacred
duty, Tyzar."
And, with that, Ty walked through the portal back to his old room. But it was different now.
