Now Jennifers greatgrandfather had been Glendales only doctor during the 30's,40s and 50's
and when Jennifers mom had inherited the old mans fortune,she'd also inherited the house,the
medical laboratories it contained and Doctor Lambe's extensive research
library.
So Jennifer thanked the gods Martha the Maid was not around and her parents
were off on a 3 month cruise with other rich snots who'd inherited their fortunes.
So Jennifer had the place to herself.
She'd been planning to invite Hampton Highs jocks and cheerleaders over
for a party that night but now that seemed a bad idea.
She ran to her engineer dads office,logged on the computer and sent emails to everyone
saying she'd caught a nasty 2 week flu and the party was off.
What Jennifer didn't see as she typed away on the keyboard was the swirls of blue hair on her head and neck that were starting the thicken,darken and twist together to form what looked like
the beginnings of horns and spikes.
Nor did she actually feel her neck start to lengthen as her mane of weird blue hair began to creep and grow down her backbone.
However she'd just finished sending off the last email when she felt a reawakening pain in her gums,and a pressure in her jaws as a new pair of sharp fangs struggled to take
their place in her jaws.
The pain died away and Jennifer had just put her hand over her mouth and nose when she felt her jaws stretch out a little longer to
accomadate those two new dragon fangs.She gasped in horror as with her fingers she could feel
her nose seem to widen a little .
She ran to the houses security system office and turned on all the locks to the doors and the front gate.
Then she ran as fast as her legs could carry her to her greatgranddads laboratories...
