The Barber smiled, feeling better than he had in a long time. With that big-shot lawyer and all of his lackeys now no longer his problem, it was back to business as usual. At least, that's what he thought.
He heard the loud engine of a truck making its way down the street, then watched as the truck (a moving truck) stopped near a building across the street. The building was actually right next door to the Krumwoodie’s Motorcycle shop. The Barber recalled that that building was empty and up for sale. Well, it looked like someone had bought it and was moving in.
The Barber briefly wondered who was moving in, when suddenly an odd feeling washed over him. It made him feel ... unsettled. He wasn't sure, but he thought that whoever was moving into that building might have had some ability to use magic. Not like the magic he used, but similar.
He looked out the window and watched as a makeshift sign was put up in the storefront window. It said: COMING SOON - BEAUTY SALON.
It looked like he was about to get some competition. But what he didn't know was that anyone who used the services of this new business would change. But instead of becoming gay men, like inside the Barber's shop, they would become lesbians.
A stunningly beautiful woman, in tight but somewhat professional clothes, stepped out of the future salon and looked around the surrounding area and smiled. Then she turned and looked directly at the Barber, spotting him looking at her through his window, then she winked at him. Did she know what he was capable of doing? That he could change people? He wasn't sure, but that wink definitely made him feel uncomfortable. And just when things seemed to be going his way.
