Troy wasn't sexually attracted to Jen, although he did hold some fondness towards her/him. But he knew that since this curse was actually real and not a bunch of bullshit, he would eventually care about Jen the way he cared about any hot girl he knew. And that horrified him. He had a reputation to uphold and he couldn't do that if everyone thought he was gay ... well, fat and gay, which was even worse.

"We have to stop this from happening," Troy said, sounds of him chewing on food over the phone. "I don't want to love guy, even if that guy used to be a girl."

"And I don't want to be a guy," Jen said. "But there's nothing we can do. We're stuck like this."

"That can't be true. There has to be a way to fix this. There just has to be."
