I was led into an elevator in an open area in the office hall. Ms.A took out a keycard from around her neck
and swiped it through the scanner. It revealed a hidden keypad that had the buttons for sub basement floors.
"Uh, where are we going?" I asked
"The main building is only for those working with our main 'Normal' company branch. You are going to be
working for our 'underground' branch" she snickers for a second then goes back to a stoic stare.
I was definitely starting to get worried. creepy sub-basement, scary woman talking about werewolves. It
took us about five minutes to reach the second sub basement, the elevator doors opened to reveal a black and
white lobby with red furniture. A Hispanic man was sitting behind a desk that came up to his chest. The light
in the room seemed to come from every where with no single source, a few digital frames were on the wall that
transitioned through different pictures, on the opposite wall was a wooden double door that led to who knew
where. The Hispanic man looked up when we stepped in.
"hello ma'am." he said in an accent that sounded more English than Spanish, "Is this Mr.Anderson, the new
guy?"
"Yes, well if he doesn't die from the shock of seeing a Lycan for the first time."
"Your starting him on Lycans?" he asks questioningly, "why not something more familiar like Zombies?"
"Because Zombies are more provoked by fresh scents, anyway, just open the door we'll talk later."
The hallway was the same as the lobby, black and white with a bit of red, it was about 10 ft wide and had
doors on both sides going down to the end of the 15 ft long hall, the end had another set of doors also.
Ms.A took me to the third room down on the left, she opened the door and inside....
