As they laid there on the floor, naked and cuddling, Rock turned his head away from Rod and spotted a pocket watch sitting on the floor. He noticed that before. That asshole Mark was holding it, then he dropped it. But why was he holding it? People didn't use pocket watches anymore, so what was so special about it?
"Dude, what's with this watch?" Rock asked Rod.
"Oh, that's what he used to change you," his lover said, matter-of-factly.
"What? Change me?" Rock asked, sitting up and looking down at Rod. "What do you mean?"
Mark never got the chance to erase Jarrod's memory of Raymond's transformation into Rock, the muscle hunk skater boi, so Rod still remembered the watch and what it could do.
"Yeah, you used to be some scrawny nerd kid. Then Mark used the watch to change you into the guy you are now. It was so fuckin' cool to watch."
"Are you serious?" He looked at the pocket watch. He couldn't believe that he used to be a scrawny little nerd, let along anyone else. But Rod wouldn't lie to him.
"Seriously. I'm not shitting you, man."
Rock smiled. If this really was true, then with this watch, he could change anyone into anyone else. The sky was the limit. To hell with finding other skater bois to be friends (or maybe more than friends) with. With this watch, he could make his own friends.
He stood up. "Come on, dude."
"Where are we going?" Rod asked.
"To have a little fun with this watch."
And with that, they both got redressed and headed out of the room and into the hallway, where the only person in sight was a janitor mopping the floor. Everyone else must have been in class.
