Grandma says “Perhaps you like to see him, wait here while I get him.” Grandma stands up and heads to her
bedroom but comes back 30 seconds later. “Hmm, he must’ve left, I guess he felt guilty for what he done.”
Suddenly the window opened and in came the wolf Sarah met earlier, surprising her and Grandma. “I was about to
leave Elder Balthilde but I felt there’s something I had to say to your granddaughter.” “Bigby, stop doing that!
Why don’t you ever use a door?” Grandma says. Bigby bows his lupine head “Sorry Elder Balthilde.” Bigby turns
to Sarah “I was planning to kill your grandmother and then you when you arrived, but I never realized that you
were the granddaughter of Elder Balthilde and for this I apologize.” Sarah could clearly see in Bigby’s yellow
eyes and see sadness in his eyes. “Why in the world would you want to do that?” Sarah asked. Grandma says “He
thought humans were intruding in the forest, and like I said before he does things without thinking.”
Bigby then says “I see you transformed on your way here. If you don’t mind I want to leave and try to get a
better aquainted with the pack before I mistake the alpha as a human woodsman.” He tries to climb out the window
but Granma says “Bigby!” Bigby turns around and grandma points a clawed finger to the front door “Use the door!”
“Yes Elder Balthilde.” Bigby heads to the front door.
