"Werecats, huh?" Becky said, finally sounding like maybe she'd be fully okay with something.
"Yes...though.." Elise hesitated. "The werecats are rather...physically affectionate. Err.." she looked rather
uncomfortable for a moment. "Promiscuous..and.." her voice lowered a bit. "Very bi-sexual, as I understand
it."
She smiled. "Not that there's anything wrong with that.."
You and Becky exchanged a bit of a knowing look, both remembering a couple of times where you'd both been
feeling a little experimental. Nothing too major had ever happened, but the two of you had both joked that it
was only a matter of time before you were drunk enough not to care.
"Yeah, that stuff doesn't exactly bother us," Becky said dismissively.
"Alright then, follow me," Elise said. She led you out of the back of the building. "Not that there's any
danger of being caught by a werewolf right now-they don't have the animal senses that they do at night. They'd
just assume you had been turned last night if we do get stopped. So don't say or do anything that would tell
them you hadn't been."
"Alright," you said. "So when in doubt, pretend we're part of the big evil, huh?"
"It's part of what's kept me safe," Elise said. She led you deep into the forest, until you finally were good
and lost. You could feel eyes on you, and then suddenly you were surrounded.
Six women and two men formed a loose ring around all of you. One of them, a tanned woman with raven-black hair
slinked up to the old woman. "Elise? What are you doing, bringing strangers here?"
"These gals need help-they got tricked last night, and they somehow got delivered into my hands. I've already
talked to them, and they understand that they'll be here for the foreseeable future, but I can't hide 'em. You
know the wolves would figure out that something was up."
"And so you brought them here?" The woman seemed upset, though not overly so. The rest of the group was eyeing
you and Becky with very come-hither eyes. They were all dressed normally. It was hard to believe this group
lived in the middle of the woods, but that had to be the only case, right?
"We..asked to come here. The other options weren't exactly appealing to us," Becky said, pointedly letting her
eyes wander over the woman's body and linger strategically.
"You wish to be reborn as one of the cat folk tonight?" The woman asked the two of you.
"We do," Becky said, grabbing your hand and squeezing it nervously.
"Follow me, then. We won't let you be lost to the wolves," she said, motioning you to follow.
