Amy’s legs became limp as she couldn’t feel them anymore. It was as if the bones in them were breaking apart,
but there was no pain. Then her legs suddenly zipped together, and began fusing from the waist down. In no time
the space between what used to be her legs was gone, and what was left was a fleshy blob. Within seconds though,
her spine painlessly extended down the mass, all the way down to her flipper-like feet, which fused together to
form one powerful flipper. As the spine finished extending, Bright blue scales formed across what was now her
new tail, and within seconds, the sensations finally stopped, and Amy gazed upon her brand new, flexible fish
tail.
“I don’t believe it,” Amy said with a smile, “I’m a mermaid. A real, live mermaid.”
As Amy thought about the amazing possibilities of what she could do now, she again noticed the box of pearls
that made her what she is now. She wondered what would happen if she took one or two more. The question is, will
she actually take another?
