Rebecca and Jeanie decided to teach the kids about history.
"Now Napoleon Bonaparte was the emperor of France from May 18, 1804 to April 11, 1814, and from March 20, 1815 to June 22 of the same
year," Rebecca started, then smiled "but what the history books WON'T tell you is that I used to date him. He always knew how to dress, but he
wasn't very committed to me. He started making eyes at Josephine, so I had to dump him. Now of course, he would say that HE dumped ME -
for a little guy, he had a HUGE ego, and to this day that's where people get the term 'Napoleon complex' from. It was his ego that got him
exiled twice, which explains the gap in his rule. In my opinion, the only good things this country got from him were the Louisiana territory, and
the pastry named after him, which was much sweeter than he ever was! Say, how would you all like to make Napoleons?"
At this, the class let out an enthusiastic cheer.
"I'll take that as a 'yes'." Rebecca said happily "Jeanie, would you like to help me turn this classroom into a kitchen?"
"I thought you'd never ask, big sis!" Jeanie replied smiling, and the two genies used their combined magic to turn the classroom into a kitchen,
and everyones' clothes into kitchen outfits.
They spent the rest of the time making Napoleons, and the kids even had some left to take home.
When it was over, the djinn sisters turned the room and the clothes back to normal, so no one would be the wiser.
Brenda followed the two outside to Rebecca's car.
"I can't believe the money I burnt on gas for this thing!" Rebecca said with crossed arms "Time to trade up!" and she zapped the car into a
magic carpet.
"Now that's better." said Rebecca, sitting where the driver's seat would've been."
"I call shotgun!" Jeanie happily said, and sat there.
"You wanna ride?" Rebecca warmly asked Brenda.
"Really?" she asked, for she'd always dreamed of riding a magic carpet.
"Sure." Rebecca replied with a smile "It's my ride. If I say you can, then it's ok."
So Brenda sat behind both of them.
"Where are we going?" Brenda asked.
"Jeanie and I agreed that we should go and find the rest of our sisters, and restore their memories too." Rebecca replied.
"How many do you have?" Brenda asked.
"We don't have any brothers," Jeanie replied "but we have plenty of sisters. As for the number, why don't we just leave that a surprise?"
"But where are we going?" Brenda asked again "Not trying to be rude, but you still haven't answered me yet."
"Should I tell her or should you?" Jeanie asked Rebecca as they flew on the carpet.
"No point." Rebecca replied "We're already here."
They got off the carpet, and to Brenda's surprise, it was her house!
"Why are we here?" Brenda asked.
"You'll see." Rebecca said, smiling as they entered the house.
Brenda's mom, Beth, was working from home.
She was 30 and had blonde hair like her daughter.
It had been 2 years since the car wreck that took her husband's life, and she'd been a widow ever since.
She looked up and saw them.
"Hi, dear." she said to Brenda "Who are they? Is there a costume party I don't know about?"
"Oh Beth," Jeanie said "you always did have a good sense of humor."
"Do I know you?" Beth asked.
"We're your sisters." Rebecca replied.
"Wait. My mom's a genie?" Brenda asked.
"Yes," Jeanie replied "but just like Rebecca was, she doesn't remember it."
"Alright." Beth said, standing up with her hands on her hips "Who put you up to this, and how much are you getting paid for it?"
"Let's do this together, Jeanie." Rebecca said.
"I agree." Jeanie said "It'll go much faster if we both combine our magic."
Jeanie stood Beth's left, and Rebecca stood on her right.
"What are you-" but before Beth could answer, the two genies hugged her from both sides, and a puff of pink smoke appeared enshrouding
Beth. When the smoke cleared, there stood an Arabian girl with long pointy ears, blonde hair, tan skin, red irises, and wearing the same clothes
her sisters were, but in a different color scheme. Physically, she looked only 10 years old - only 2 years older than Brenda.
Beth held her head in pain for a minuet, but then opened her eyes to look up at the other two genies.
"Big sisters!" she said in a happy 10-year-old girl voice "I've missed you so much!"
"And we missed you too, little sister." Rebecca happily said to her.
Beth turned around to face her daughter.
"How old are you, mom?" she asked, for she was very confused.
"I'm only about 245," she replied smiling "which is actually very young for a genie."
"Wait." Brenda said "If you're my mom, and you're a genie, does that mean I'm a genie too?"
"You're only half-genie," Beth replied "but it still counts." and with that, Beth gave her daughter a hug, making her into a genie too. She looked
just like her mom, except she was 2 years younger-looking, her irises were pink, and her clothes were different colors. She felt her long, pointy
ears and smiled.
"This is so cool!" Brenda said smiling big "Will I live as long as a genie?"
"You will NOW." Beth happily relied "Now to take care of that pesky workload." Beth used her magic, and whatever she was working on got done
"Now I'm free to have fun with my daughter and two of my big sisters. Say Brenda, what would you like to do now?"
Brenda replied ...
