Ty teleported himself and Eve to Shive's Comics in an instant. It was an old convenience store that Dan Shive, the store's owner, had bought and converted into a carpeted, decent sized comic book store. It had an upstairs level that was part of the store, and part of the reason he bought the building. It had almost equal devotion to comics and manga, as well as anime and animated series and action figures. It was a nerd paradise, and despite what one might think, the buyers were hardly all skinny and asthmatic with glasses. The appearances were as varied as any other group of people.
That's not to say that Ty and Eve didn't create a stir when they entered. In fact Ty could see the gazes of many of the guys following Eve's scantily body and noticed the girls looking at him. They stood out, definitely. "This feels kinda weird," Eve said to him. "We really do stand out."
"It's fine," Ty said, making it so the others in store stopped caring, at which point they immediately began resuming their activities. "There's the batsuit!"
Propped up in the middle of the room was the replica armoured cowl and plates from the Dark Knight Rises in the classic Batman shape. Every detail looked identical to the version in the film. "That's sweet," Ty and Eve said together, "Let's split up, you start with the manga and anime upstairs, I'll start with the western stuff down here."
"Alright," Eve agreed and took off upstairs.
Meanwhile Ty looked around the downstairs, looking through the comics and the people, seeing if there was anyone he'd want to change. First he noticed a very skinny, short boy looking at Batman & Robin. A quick mind read revealed the boy's name was Dylan and he was about ten-years old, and among his thoughts was one admiring the buff physique of Damien Wayne, the current Robin, who Dylan was the same age as, but obviously considerably less built, and much shorter. "We can fix that," Ty muttered to himself.
Immediately Dylan began to grow in height, inching upwards from 4'3'' to 4'4'' then shooting up an entire foot abruptly. Before he could even begin to get his bearings his body began filling out with lean, toned, athletic muscle. He wasn't huge or bulky, but as his muscles came in it was clear he had a very strong gymnast physique that bordered on bodybuilder, and each muscle was sizable, toned and strong. His clothes resized to fit him and he was left a tall and athletic boy who could easily cosplay as Robin IV. Ty had made it so nobody else would notice except Dylan himself.
With that done Ty looked around for other people he could change.
