Your mother slowly walks slowly towards you, “Speaking of which, you look a little hot in that sweat suit.
Let’s make you a little more comfortable and see the real you.” You close your eyes expecting an outburst of
anger if she finds out that you’ve transformed yourself into a satyr. You felt your sweat pants drop as she
drops them but then you only hear her giggling as you then look at her she’s smiling “Oh son, you remind me
about your late father.” Was your father a satyr? You wanted to ask questions about him when Nick barged in
with the spellbook you bought home clutched in his hands. “Mom! Look what I found in Timathy’s room?” Nick
look at mom with a dropped jaw “Mom? What happened to you?” Mom says “Tim turned me back to what I really am.
A Nymph.” Nick sees you, “You used one of the spells on yourself, didn’t you?” Mom says “Don’t be mad at your
brother Nick, after all he’s embracing the family legacy.” Nick says “You mean Dad is..?” Mom interrupts “Yes
Nick, a Satyr and a very good husband.” Mom sits on the bed and pats on the mattress both sides of her “Come,
sit with me and I’ll tell you about them.” Nick sits on her right while I sit on her left. “Your father and I
are not from this world, we are from an alternate dimension where humans and mythological creatures co-existed
peacefully. One day a was looking at different dimensions and found this world and decided to explore it, your
dad and I along with several other creatures joined him but one problem, the humans of this world isn’t ready
to see mythological creatures yet, so the wizard used a spellbook to change us into humans so we can freely
explore without suspicion.” Mom holds his hand out to Nick and he gave him the spellbook and she held it up
“This one. Where did you find it Tim?” You respond “I found it in the Library when I was getting the books for
History class, somehow I was drawn to it.” Mom says “The wizard was missing all this time, he must put it
there knowing that one of us may find it.” Mom stand up “Let’s see, something is missing. Oh, I know.” She
reaches under the bed and pulls out a small box, she opens it revealing a set of panpipes and hands it to you.
“This was your father’s, now it’s yours. Could you play us a happy tune so we can dance?”
