"Oh, great today's Assembly has Ellen De Generis and her BOY-friend Neil Patrick Harris giving us a lecture on
Hetero Tolerance," sighed Jason rolling his eyes.
"Ellen and Neil?"
"Yeah, or as the media likes to call them Neillen, Man, Neil is so hot how can he waste himself on chick?"
Jason said rolling his eyes. "Still it could be worse, they could have made us listen to Bruce Vilanch and his
GIRLfriend Rosie O'Donnell." He shuddered, "Though I can sort of see how those two got together."
"Uh, yeah," Jake agreed uncertainly. This was one strange world. And it just got stranger.
He stared at the Vice Principal Harold Mann standing in a pink spandex suit, and swishing his limp wrist as he
talked to Coach Mike Jordan. He was obviously flirting.
"You boys are so naughty, the warning bell rang 4 minutes ago, you've got less than a minute to get to class
or you'll be tardy," he scolded in a falsetto voice.
"Oh, Vice Principal Mann, couldn't you just give us hall passes. Jake and I were up all night - uh, working on
a project."
The Vice Principal rolled his eyes and said to Mike, "Oh, to be young and in love again." He sighed, and wrote
out two hall passes.
"Thanks, Mr. Mann," Jason said batting his long eye lashes at the man.
"Oh, Jason. Everybody gets one pass, and you and Jake just got yours. See you on time to Assembly at 10:30
AM," he said.
Jason grit his teeth, "Sure thing, Mr. Mann."
Then when Jake and he were out of earshot, he whispered, "I wondered why he gave us hall passes. He was
bribing us to attend the assembly."
"You were planning to ditch?"
"Of course, but now we're obligated," sighed Jason.
"Well, I'll see you at the Assembly, then at 4th period," he grabbed Jake and gave him a long French kiss.
Jake stood there gasping for air as Jason headed off to his home room. Now Jake was concerned, what was his
home room in this world? He opened his backpack to see if he had a class schedule. Oh, duh, Jason had walked
him to the door of his home room. He took a deep breath and entered.
"Jake, you're late," said Mr. Garrison.
"Uh, here's my hall pass," Jake said handing it to his teacher. He then turned to the class to take his seat,
and his eyes got wide. This wasn't like his old world's home room. He looked for an empty chair and sat
down.
