"Oh shoot!" Jason said suddenly when they approached the school. "I forgot! The clocks had been set back an hour yesterday. We still
have an hour before class starts."
Jake had a strange urge to say, "Wanna find a closet so we can have some fun?" But Jason seemed to have read Jake's mind and
chuckled.
"Listen," he said, pulling Jake into a hug. "I know I turn you on and make you horny. You do the same for me. It's just that you know how I
am. Plus, remember what we agreed on?"
Something seemed to click in Jake's head as he replied, "As long as you don't preach, we don't have sex until we get married." Where had
that come from? Whatever it was, it made Jason laugh and kiss Jake, who was surprised to find that he was kissing back.
"Let's just make it to senior prom before you get any ideas about marriage," Jason joked, nuzzling Jake's neck a little. For a brief moment,
Jake forgot completely about how changed the world was. He only cared about his boyfriend. Jason gave Jake one final kiss before
walking away, leaving Jake to stand in the afterglow of their cuddling.
Jake shook himself, coming back to Earth. No! He was straight! Gay is not supposed to be the norm. He began walking to his locker,
trying to think of what to do. He walked past where the football players used to sit and flirt with the cheerleaders and did a double take.
Instead of cheerleaders sitting on the football players' laps, the guys soccer team were sitting on the football players laps, kissing and
flirting with the big football players. A few of the football players had even paired off with each other and were holding hands, leaning
against each other, arms wrapped around another, etc. A few whistles and hoots brought Jake's attention to a new couple who had just
arrived. He boned up unconsciously when he saw two of the football captains, also the two most masculine and attractive guys in the
whole school, making out in the parking lot. Jake wondered if they were going to get back in their car. He glances back and sees a lone
football player eyeing him, checking him out.
The guy was fairly attractive. He had a hard face, crew-cut blond hair, cute dimples, a flawless face, and stellar green eyes. Jake didn't
know who he was. He shook his head, waking himself up from another reverie. It was starting to get too damn hard to remember his old
life. He was straight. He liked girls. He had a GIRLfriend, not a BOYfriend. He stood there, thinking about what he should do next.
