"Sure," Andrew said to Paul. "Let's go in."
Paul clapped excitedly, then went inside.
"Good riddance," Andrew said, turning back towards Morgan. "Come on, let's go." And with that, the two boys headed off in a different direction, not even caring that they ditched Paul.
As they walked away, however, an old woman nearby snarled at their blatant disregard for the other boy's well being.
She knew why they ditched him. It was because Paul was an effeminate gay boy and they didn't want to be seen with him or to be the object of his advances. So he was different than them, so what? Ditching him wasn't the answer. They should have confronted him with how they felt. Sure, it might have been mean-hearted, but at least they would have had their feelings out in the open.
Snapping her fingers, she then placed a curse on both Andrew and Morgan.
