After going through all the trouble of mail-proofing the Radonite, Will found that it was impossible to send
the package to Joseph Johnson. Apparently, even NPCs couldn't send mail to NPCs. Will had a different idea
though. If he couldn't send the package, maybe a different NPC could. So, Will went to the one type of person
he never thought he would want help from in this game. He talked to a police officer. In Supers mode, the
police mostly functioned as guards. Killing enemy players that come in and giving directions to friendly
players. However, Will wasn't a player.
"Excuse me Ma'am, do you think you could give me a hand?" Will asked.
"Sure, what do you need?" The policewoman replied.
"I'm having trouble getting the mailbox to work right, do you think you could help me out?" Will asked.
"This doesn't exactly sound like something the police need to work on." The policewoman said.
"I know, but you're the only other person here, and I could really use the help." Will said. He was right,
this section of Flotham was deserted.
"Oh alright. What are you sending anyway? It looks big." The policewoman asked as she walked over to the
mailbox.
"It's a box full of campaign fliers. I work for Joseph Johnson, and with the election coming up, he sent me
down here to make absolutely sure the company got the fliers right before they were shipped out." Will
replied. Thank goodness this wasn't D&D, because Will was pretty sure he would have failed that bluff check.
In an MMO though, the policewoman happily accepted the excuse.
"Sounds kind of paranoid, but I guess you don't get to be CEO of the biggest company in America by taking
risks." She replied.
After that, it only took a few minutes for the policewoman to get the mail set up for him.
"That was weird. For a minute, it didn't want to send it to Mr. Johnson. It's fixed now, but I can see how you
had a problem." She said.
"Oh thank you, is there any way I can make it up to you?" Will asked.
"Well, there is one thing..."
