“Well, you have done a fine job with this one… Doctor Bergström” Sanchez says as he lifts the dog woman’s dress and look at her bushy tail and furry buttocks and caresses them. He spends some extra time running his hands through the extra thick fur on the back of her thighs. He lifts up one of the woman’s furry arms and holds up her hand. Her fingertips and palms feel leathery and her fingers are strangely short and bent. He also notices her loss of mobility in her fingers, they are stiff and her thumb is hard and bony and has begun to move away from her hand, up on her arm. “I’m still amazed how much difference moving around a little in a person’s DNA code can make such a big difference” Doctor Bergström sighs and takes another sip from his glass of whiskey. “Should I take her back to her cage?” Asks the lab assistant hat just injected the dog woman with a tranquilizer. “Yes, take her back and make her ready for tomor…” The doctor answers but is interrupted by Sanchez. “No, I want her to be with me tonight”
“But…” The Doctor begins but stops, he knows it’s useless to argue. He narrow his eyes as he look at Sanchez. Sanchez doesn’t see this as he’s too busy looking at the woman. He puts down his glass so fast that he almost spills whiskey on the desk. As he begins to walk out of the room he clenches his fists. The lab assistant is right behind him and closes the door when they leave the room.
“That idiot! How I’m I supposed to do my job if he steals my test subjects and if the testing are not done in a proper environment?” The doctor asks himself as he leaves Sanchez office building, waving his arms in anger. “Can’t he understand? I’m the research leader!” The lab assistant listens with interest as they walk towards the science building. The doctor glances at the lab assistant and asks “Arthur, are you loyal? Can I trust you?” Arthur the lab assistant nods without hesitation. “Good, there’s something I want you to do…”
