So Christine went back in and picked up a few more items from the heat sink to play it safe.
Then she went outside and after a long walk,of which she kept directions back to the cave, found a old abandoned mine workings with various tools and carts.
She found a still serviceable wheelbarrow and spent the next few days wheeling the barrow to the dragons cave and retrieving more items.
The Dragons Necklace had re-appeared around her neck, and when she tapped the necklace with
a hoard items, sparks flew and a brilliant fiery red-orange blue light would
appear during the tap, like a carbon arc torch.
Clearly the Dragon Necklace was pumping out the transforming energies
whilst the hoard items soaked it up.
On a whim, she held one silver cup steadily onto the necklace
and was dismayed the the silver cup melted away and vanished whilst the
necklace gave no indication that it was in danger of going away.
So Christine wasn't going to end her curse by simply overloading and shortcircuiting this
necklace.
So she took another walk and found a abandoned farmstead with a still functional Model T Ford
beside the prospectors cabin.
Christine started it up,drove it to the mine, loaded
up the hoard treasure she needed to remain human and drove off
back to Ken Atwell and his mansion...
