Jason, 11, was on his way home to get ready for baseball practice after a long and boring day at school. He had to get
dressed as soon as he could and rush down to the park. At the last practice, his friend Sean had accidentally left his
ballcap and taken Jason's by mistake. Jason didn't realize it until he put it on on his way home from school, only to find
out it was a couple of sizes too big.
Jason was a growing boy—a sort of early bloomer, if you will—and was already as tall as his older brothers were when they
were just starting high school, both of whom had already grown out of most of their T-shirts and original clothing from
their freshman year. So Jason took much of his brothers' closet trash for himself, and seemed unusually fashion-conscious
to the other kids at his middle school. Today, it was one of Jake's striped collared shirts. It matched Will's old Polo
blue jeans rather nicely.
In a hurry, Jason eyes a gold medallion resting on the side walk near his home.
