After the visit of the Snow Queen Moragan was a unsettled. I thought it was weird that it let her go just like
that, but thought it was because of the Snow Queen own power, still she seamed agitated and for lack of a
better word pissed.
"She seemed more stressed than usual, doesn't it Broom?" I asked my animated straw broom. Strangely it didn't
responded, but I did get an answer.
"Don't bother the spirit is no longer in that stick." said Morgana passing quickly.
"What? Why? What have you done to it?" I asked, I had come to endear the wooden stick.
"I put it in something more useful." said Morgana as a stone torch slide its way to my side.
"Broom?"
"Maybe Torch now, given the implications?" suggested Morgana.
She said no further word to me as she return to her business. And she did a lot of changes, the moat outside
the fortress turned to lava, the woods surrounding it were burned down and the fortress itself was elevated
and had lava running freely from cascades. Enough to say that I didn't want to be near torch afterward the
whole castle was unnaturaly hot, the long dress was too asphyxiating I stripped down to bare essentials. but I
had simply had to ask. "Why the sudden renovation?"
"Oh Sara... I haven't told you right? Well, you heard Lumi right. A prince is coming."
"So? You haven't done something so radical for any prince before." I said.
"There's no need. But this time is no mortal prince who comes for you, and I hate to say it but this one might
be able to rescue you."
"Really?" I said excited, not realizing I had my intention being clear.
"I wouldn't be as thrilled if I were you. For the prince who might be able to rescue you is also the only one
you wouldn't want you to be rescued by."
I was confused, anyone would be right, instead of being forced to be bait for that witch. "Why would you say
that?"
Morgana sighed, "Do you know the land of Antar?"
"Antar? I remember a legend, it was supposed to be desert city that was in constant struggle of desert
monsters and had a number civil problems, not the least was be the monarchy. Antar, the wicked city a
cautionary tale for monarchs."
"A legend, yes it devolved as much. But Antar was a real place. You know in the North the weather is cold
right, and the southern you go the warmer the climate get right? So it would be logical that the southernmost
point it would be the hottest place right, as the opposite is true."
"In a flawed logic, since if you continue travel to the south it starts to get cooler." said Sara.
"That's true... now. But it wasn't always like that. At the southern most point the land of Antar stood. And
as the tale tells it was a wretched place to live, and the heat and the constant droughts didn't help the
matter. But one day from other dimension came this person who wielded powers of an Ice Elemental. Finn the Ice
Prince, as far as we can recollected from his rumblings his world was decimated by a Lich that was let to run
loose. He had come here escaping, but his mind is severely warped. The poor idiot tried to help the people of
Antar on his own way, but the people didn't took his help with good eyes and assaulted him. That was the last
mistake that people took. Using his powers he 'protected' the people from the monsters and themselves by
encasing them in permafrost and covering the desert in Ice. Now where it stood the land known as Antartica
hail. A land of ice and snow. And has been that way for hundreds of years. But the moral of the story my dear
princess is that the Ice Prince froze a the hottest desert on the planet for centuries with a single spell, I
doubt Lumi can even attempt to do that. And I fear that he might succeed in rescuing you, and if that happen
be afraid child be very afraid."
