Poor Aaron was still in disbelief that he was stuck as a Dewott plushie, and wouldn't have believed it
himself, were he not entirely immobile and incapable of speech. As much as he didn't want to believe it, it
had been five hours since Alice had trapped him inside her Pokemon toy, and by now the sun was beginning to
set. All hopes of Alice coming back to restore his humanity were starting to fade.
*It's okay,* Aaron told himself. *I can wait. Whatever that phone call wa about, it was pretty serious. I'm
sure she'll be back, she'll just be a while is all.*
The sun soon disappeared, and the moon took its place in the window. Still, Aaron stood motionless and quiet,
against his will. It seemed, while he was a plushie, he was incapable of sleep, forcing him to stay awake the
whole night, which made the experience even more frustrating. Soon, the night became day, and still Alice had
not returned.
Days began to blur together. Aaron kept telling himself that his girlfriend would return and release him from
this horrible prison. It was one of the only things keeping him from losing his mind at this point.
Days became weeks, and still he did not move. Not even when the police broke into his house, attempting to
locate him, or any evidence of his disappearance. He desperately tried to call out. *Wait! I'm over here!
Please, look at the computer! The Chronivac did this to me!* But they soon left, and once again Aaron began to
struggle, to break free of his inanimate prison.
How could Alice have forgotten? Perhaps something had happened to her? Yes, that was the only way to explain
it. Something must have happened to her. There was no way Alice would have forgotten about him for this long.
The police soon returned - perhaps a few days, or weeks, later - and resumed their search for clues. A
detective was soon called in, and he could faintly hear them conversing between each other.
"We're going to have to call off the search," One of the officers explained. "You're more than welcome to stay
and investigate, but we really should be moving on to the investigation of the death of... uh... It was tht
blonde kid..."
"I believe her name was Alice," The detective replied. "The one who slipped from the shopping centre roof and
died. Yes, perhaps we should, officer. This search seems to be a lost cause."
At first, Aaron didn't want to believe it. *No... She... She couldn't have! She can't be dead... I'll never
get to see her again!*
It was when he tried to form tears in his eyes that he remembered the repercussions of her death. His human
body was forever lost. He was trapped inside the body of his girlfriend's Dewott plushie forever, and even
though there were people right in front of him, who could quite easily revert him to his original state, they
would never know what happened to him.
The police finally made their way out, and with them they took every last hope Aaron had of returning to
normal, of being free of his immovable plush body. *I can't be stuck like this... I just can't...*
