Stacy bared her teeth, and her eyes glowed. Kristi, Vinnie, Carter and Brad kicked dirt on her funeral pyre. As they kicked the dirt, they began to shrink. Vinnie was the first to notice as his class ring slipped from his now too small finger. Carter's loose jeans dropped to his ankles.
"Ha, ha, Carter, your pants fell down," laughed Brad.
"Shh, we're shrinking, Brad, I'll try a counter spell," Vinnie answered.
Brad became stone quiet and looked at himself, the others and their surroundings. The trees seemed to be growing right before his eyes, and their clothing seemed like it had been handed down from giant siblings. He swallowed hard. He'd always thought Stacy was a witch, now he was sure of it. He looked expectantly at Vinnie.
Suddenly, his clothing blocked his vision. Moments later the four people crawled out of their gigantic clothing, and walked over to each other naked in the rising moon's light. They couldn't be much more than 4 inches in height, Brad thought looking at his hightop, and glad that he'd ended up in his underwear instead of buried in one of his socks inside of that 8 inch high shoe. He was about to wish he had ended up there. Stacy roared.
They turned and saw the two glowing orbs, and white shiny teeth as the creature approached from the shadows. Vinnie ran 20 yards to where his amulet lay in the dirt. He clutched at it like a shield. It glowed. He kept muttering, but nothing appeared to happen. Brad thought maybe it glowed for a second, but nothing else. The cat kept approaching. Vinnie dropped the amulet, and ran. They all started to run.
The cat roared, again. The hunt was on, and Stacy hungered for revenge.
