Eric feels his face throbbing as his nose starts to grow longer. Just when he's starting to look like a pig, the nose turns black and comes to rest right over his mouth, which is also expanding. He lets out a startled "yip" as his teeth start to fall out. Before long his nose-mouth has pushed out into a canine muzzle. He can feel every part of his mouth with his longer tongue. In fact, he can even reach up and lick his nose--gross!
He reaches up his hand to feel it, running the hand over so much new skin and bone. Even the sharp teeth that are growing in. He realizes more blond hair is growing over his muzzle, but it's much shorter and finer. He begins to pant, long tongue flapping around outside his new doggy muzzle. Scents have filled his wet black nose, as he now realizes he can even recognize his own body scent!
He can't get back upright, but he his still curious about his body and tries to look backwards. His body looks mostly unchanged right now, except for that long slender thing that grew out so painfully. He hasn't held it since it was 3 inches long. Most dogs get to explore their tails as pups, but Eric just developed his a few minutes ago. So, hands and knees planted firmly on the ground, Eric tries to explore the swinging flesh with the only tool he can think of: this fuzzy yellow muzzle sticking out of his face.
The tail swings in front of him, and he tries to snap at it, but too quickly it swings back to the other side. He keeps trying, and it starts turning into a sort of game: "Can I use my new mouth muscles to bite the long swingy thing?" Beyond just being good practice for these new body additions, the game starts to become fun, causing his tail to wag harder and become more difficult to catch!
It's an amusing sight to watch--a grown man circling around on his hands and knees, chasing his tail like a pup. But before Eric can realise what he's doing, another pain courses through his body! He drops to the ground and covers his muzzle with his hands.
