The next door neighbor's kid, Nathan, saw the package on the door step. He hopped the fence and wandered over
to it. Staring at it inquisitively, he picked it up and decided to take it inside - that way he can give it
to his neighbor later. He had a small fear that if he left it out on the doorstep too long, someone might
steal it.
As Nathan entered his own house, he realized that there was a small hole in the bottom corner of the box. He
raised the box over his head, trying to peer into the box, but couldn't see anything. He walked into his
room, shut the door, and dropped the package on his desk. Little did he know, he had already contracted the
Contagion from the first moment he touched the box. The Contagion coursed through his system, pumping its
venom throughout his body.
Nathan turned toward the mirror and removed his shirt. He stared back at his skinny, thin frame. He was a
bit disheartened. No matter how much he ate, he couldn't gain weight. No matter how much he worked out, he
couldn't gain mass. He gave a little sigh and thought of his younger brother, Nick. Nick was taller than he
was and slightly more built than he was. He felt a pang of jealousy... and then a bit of queasiness in his
stomach. He turned from the mirror and removed his pants as he prepared to change for the day. Right before
he removed his boxers, the door flung wide open and in marched Nick.
"What the?! How many times do I have to tell you?! KNOCK FIRST!" Nathan grabbed his brother by the shoulder
and tossed him out of the room. The second that he had made skin contact with Nick, the queasiness increased.
He shut the door and locked it this time. He grabbed his head as he got a bit dizzy. Nathan slowly stumbled
toward his bed when he felt a sudden crack in his shoulders. Nathan turned toward the mirror and realized
that they had grown wider. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened. He continued to stare at his reflection as
he saw his body change. His back lengthened. His waist narrowed. His pecs inflated. His abs defined
themselves. When the change was done, he realized that his torso looked just like his brother's. He ran to
his door, swinging it open to tell his brother, but quickly realized that his brother had his old torso.
Nathan was shocked and silently closed his door. Looking at himself in the mirror again, Nathan couldn't help
but smile and happy with his body. The Contagion had given him the ability to steal physical properties of
another person.
