Andy had just gotten off the school bus and walked home from the bus stop when he arrived at the front door of
his small house where he spotted the small, square cardboard box sitting on the ground, right in front of the
door.
"Hey! They delivered a box? For me or for mom?" he wondered as he picked it up while he looked for a label.
When he realized that there was none, he just shrugged. "Oh well!"
He found the key to the door in his pocket and unlocked the door. He opened it and walked in, locking the door
behind him. He walked into his bedroom where he tossed the box on the bed, and then dropped his backpack on
the floor next to his desk.
Andy was the typical middle-schooler. He was fourteen years old and he was already in the seventh grade going
on eighth. He was well liked in school, even though he was occasionally bullied now and then. He was about 5
foot 4 inches tall and he was skinny but slightly athletic. He did like to run and he did play baseball and
soccer in school whenever he could.
He walked into the kitchen and got some juice to drink before he turned on the TV. After about an hour of
watching TV, he wandered back into his bedroom and decided to start on his math and history homework. Like a
good student, he didn't want to have any homework laying around when his mother came home from work late at
night, so he tried his best to get it done as quickly as possible.
Once he was done with everything, he looked over at the strange, unknown box. He picked it up and shook it a
few times. It almost seemed like there was nothing inside of it, for the cardboard box seemed empty. There was
no sound coming from it when he shook it. It almost appeared like it was left at his doorstep like some sort
of a prank or a practical joke.
Andy got his scissors and cut open the packing tape that held the box together. Once he cut the tape open, he
saw what he was afraid of. The box was empty! Little did he realize he had actually come into contact with the
strange muscle growth virus, which was contained inside of it. But, to Andy, it was nothing more than an
empty, cardboard box.
Andy just tossed the box next to the trash can.
"What a lame joke! Who mails an empty box?" he sighed as he walked back into the living room.
He sat down on the couch and almost dozed off, when he was overcome by an odd tingling sensation, which
coursed through entire body, but specifically through his muscles!
"Hey... What the heck is that? Am I coming down with a cramp?" he wondered out loud.
Then...
