So you walked along till you came to the buried temple entrance atthe end of the tunnel.
In the front of this ruined ancient temple was a lifesize statue of Saint George
on his horse spearing the dragon.
You didn't look too closely at the statue at that moment
but stepped around it and stared up at the temple,which appeared to have been buried long ago.
At the temple towered two more statues,of ancient egyption style,of two crocodile headed
priestess's.
Intrigued,you walked back to the St George Slaying the Dragon
statues and immediately noticed that the dragon,which looked like a crocodilewith wings lying on its back,looked like it was wearing a shredding white
womans gown.
Your gaze travelled up to the winged croc's chest,which sported a womans bosom.
Further up you saw the painted yellow human hair around a face that was a mixture
of a womans face and the short snout of a crocodile.
Around the monster lay various skull and bomnes,made of plaster and painted
garishly white,with spots of painted red blood on them.
Mixed in with the human pelvic bones were the complete skeletons
of crocodiles,with wooden shafts sticking
out of their rib cages.
You noted the silver and gold arm bands that dangled from some of the limb bones from some of the crocodile
skeletons
You turned your eyes back to the plinth of the Saint George statue,where the story of the scene was engraved....
