Eve Jones grew up having everything she ever wanted, and she herself was the best of all worlds. She was pretty
and smart(a cheerleader throughout high school who was also very tech savvy), and nice to everyone(even those
who wronged her).
She stood facing the full length mirror in her bedroom, wondering how the event would go tomorrow. Tomorrow, she
will be married to him. Him! Who would have ever thought it? First, there was the age difference. He was at
least fifteen years older than her(she was twenty four, and he was thirty nine when they first met), which
didn't go too well with her parents-at first. But over the time frame of one year, Eve's parents finally caught
on to the facts that their daughter caught onto much sooner, and they grew to accept him. He was no threat to
their daughter. He was lovable. He was sweet. He was a bit nerdy, but Eve didn't mind that. In many ways, Eve
saw him as just a big kid who was still into comics and playing video games, which Eve also took into with
aplomb. Heck, she had to convince HIM to get engaged since he was too nervous to do it himself.
But now, here it was. They were about to join together, hand in hand. Tomorrow. The tune from the Little Orphan
Annie movie suddenly popped in Eve's head.
