Ty smiled. As soon as Susie started to cry, he knew that his work was pretty much done. The true horror of her fate had finally hit her. He had broken her completely, and that was a good enough rush for Ty. After that, it would just be boring confusion and embarrassment as a crowd gathered and the family tried to get help. Already, a waitress had skated up to them and dropped a tray of food in shocked horror at what she saw.
Still, Ty felt like he could put a cherry on top of this cake. Something to push it to the next level...
"Permanence," he said out loud. No one noticed his voice in all of the chaos, except for the dog, Buster, but he wasn't about to tell anyone what he heard.
Ty looked at the family again. The parents would eventually grow up again with their kids' bodies, even if they were gender reversed. The kids would mature in their heads at least as time went by. Alex wouldn't mind his situation at all, it seemed.
Then, there was Susie. How long did large breed dogs like Great Danes live anyway? Ten years? She probably had only a handful of years left before her body died of old age. Where was the fun in that?
Why not make it permanent? Stop the aging altogether. Leave them trapped forever just as they are. No growing up or getting older or dying of old age. They would have forever to enjoy their freakish new forms. Of course, not being truly immortal, they might die from an accident. (Or, an "accident" if they really get tired of living.)
Ty nodded and made his wish. It was done.
"Enjoy," he said and gave the freakish mess of a family a final look. Feeling finished at last, he turned and walked off, making himself visible again after he rounded a corner. He smiled as he checked that all of his parts had returned. That had been fun, hell, maybe even more fun than the restaurant.
"Who's next?" he asked the world.
The world would be afraid, if it knew what was coming.
