Then former men tried to protest the decision to head off to Vegas for a full weekend, something they never
thought they'd ever complain about, but the wives would hear none of it. After some more pouting, the former
men went back to their rooms to back for the weekend. As if he couldn't be more defeated, Steve felt even more
deflated when he went in his and Janet's room. What had before been a fairly plain room filled with simple,
solid colors was now a room covered in floral patterns. The bed that he and his wife shared was now completely
covered in silk and lace. "This has got to be a nightmare." Steve said to himself.
"More like a dream come true!" the excited voice of his wife said walking past Steve into their new room.
"It's so beautiful! We are definitely keeping this room this way when we turn you back." But upon seeing her
husband's defeated face, "Well, maybe we'll just keep a few things."
"Great," Steve said. He really did like seeing his wife this happy, heck she hasn't been this excited in
years, but he hated that it had to come at the cost of his masculinity. Steve felt even more insecure about
things when he opened up the now doubled in size closet filled with skirts, blouses, and dresses. Steve
groaned and started digging for the least girly things he could find before finally settling on two fairly
casual pants suits. He put them on the bed to put get them ready to pack before his wife said, "Come on honey,
this is a special girls only weekend, do you really want to be dressed up so business like? This is a mini-
vacation."
"As a matter of fact I do want to dress up like this. You may have made me a woman but I can still dress like
a man."
We'll see about that. Janet thought, she considered making a wish right then and their to make a change to his
wardrobe, but decided that it would be best to let Steve keep a few things to keep him semi-comfortable. "At
least bring a swimsuit for the pool, for me," the last two words were made with puppy dog eyes that even at
his most angry Steve couldn't say no to.
"Fine." Steve said going to a drawer and hoping against hope that he at least owned a modest one piece, but
was sadly let down.
"It'll all be alright," Janet said giving her husband a kiss on the cheek. "Trust me, I'll make it all up to
you. You're going to have a great time that you'll never forget."
I don't know about that first part. Steve thought to himself as he prepared himself to pack his undergarments.
